16. Separating after senior year
Saying goodbye to your sorority sisters after you graduate can be brutal. Sending your senior off to college will also likely feel brutal. Both are exciting times. But both make you enter unknown territory.
17. Loud Noises
No joke. The loudest of the loud noises on the planet exist in two places:
Sorority chapter houses
Children
18. Cereal is always the best dinner option
No explanation necessary.
19. Walk of Shame
Because walking across campus in the same clothes you wore the night before is no less embarrassing that carrying a kicking and screaming kid through Target.
20. Getting ready in a group setting
In the sorority house, you learn how to apply makeup, do your hair, and get ready, often times without the use of a mirror. In motherhood, you apply these mad skillz every time you get “car ready” on the way to church, girls’ night, or date night. Who needs a mirror to apply mascara? Not sorority alums.
21. Getting back much more than you give
Because the best things in life do just that. And your sisters and your children do it 10 fold.
