Impressive storm clouds formed while I was spending time with my family by the South Loup river near Pleasanton Nebraska. It reminds me of the a beautiful scripture:
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
~ Psalm 19:1~
My dad took me on an abandoned dirt road outside of Litchfield, Nebraska. I thought this house was a delightful discovery. The sunset emitted a warm glow and gave the abandoned house a charming appeal.
When I was a kid, there was an old abandoned house down the road from the ranch where I lived. I thought if I ever ran away from home, that is where I would go. I thought the pastures surrounding the house were very peaceful. I was going to secretly stay in the abandoned farmhouse, and drink water from the windmill. However, my parents were never mean enough for me to justify trying out this wild plan. So now I just like to take pictures of old houses and imagine new adventures.
