Remember here when I told you we were going to Disney World? Well, we went and we had a fantastic time!
The very first thing we did was hop on the Monorail to have breakfast at the Contemporary with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy & Pluto! The kids loved it and so did I.
They even made me some delicious gluten-free waffles. Thanks, Chef Mickey!
Then it was off to the Magic Kingdom! Both of our kids did great, although we were happy to have 2 strollers with us. Yes, even our 4 year old rode most of the time. With the heat & the crowds (and our choice to skip naptime), it was nice to have that option.
After several rides and a late lunch, we decided to take advantage of our park hopper pass and made a trip to Epcot. More fun was had there!
We ended the night back at Magic Kingdom and caught the parade on Main Street!
Our road trip was so worth it; we made countless memories. One of my favorite moments from our day at Disney came while we were waiting in line for Pirates of the Caribbean (our son, by the way, has a new love for Jack Sparrow!). Matt was sitting on his daddy’s shoulders, and looked down at us and said “Thanks”. My husband and I looked at him and asked for what… “for taking me here!”
A day just wasn’t nearly enough time, so needless to say, we’re counting down until the next trip!
