Gloria Jean Hansen is a retired nurse/ not-retired bluegrass musician/writer living in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Her stories of growing up in rural Kipling have been featured in her long-running weekly newspaper column for more than two decades. She is the author of five novels and several published articles in various magazines. In her spare time she enjoys camping and fishing, skiing, and playing bluegrass.
