Chrome. I love it! Especially in the summer when all the streets are lined with families and friends; watching cars pass by.
One of the best things about living in Kearney is all of the beautiful cars and motorcycles that show up for Cruise Nite. I found this Yamaha V Star and just loved the reflections of other motorcycles that were showing up in the chrome.
Some of these photos I love to print at a large size. It is amazing all of the little details that are revealed when the image is viewed at 24″ x 36.”
I am a big fan of taking pictures of old cars in junkyards. I really enjoy seeing all of the colors that emerge as the cars become more weathered.
Have you taken a drive down the back roads anywhere in Nebraska lately? It’s amazing how beautiful things like old cars look under the big Nebraska blue sky.
These classic cars and trucks were found in a junkyard near Minden, Nebraska. The pickup is a 1948 Ford and the yellow car is a 1954 Buick Riviera hardtop. It gives us a glimpse of what our hometown streets may have been like in a different era.
