Coffee At Home With Her

Come on in!! We’re at the in-law’s cabin this morning again. Crisp. Love the smell of fall in the air. I think I’m having some of Leslie’s Pumpkin Spice in my coffee today. Yum!
So, coffee talk is a time when you get to know the three of us and our ‘random thoughts’. We talk a little bit about what’s been happening in our worlds over the past week.
First, let me tell you I’m SO tired of our website.
Not really tired of the website, just the OLD website. I’m SO ready for our new reveal. We have some awesome writers starting, the site will be easier to navigate. We even have some great new options for people wanting to be part of our giveaways or buy some advertising to support our efforts.
I’m SO ready to have the new stuff, that it is hard to actually keep going for the next couple weeks with the regular site. (We still have awesome articles and writers writing for the next two weeks.) I think it is like the last two weeks of being a senior in high school. You LOVE where you are, but you’re SO ready for the next step. I hope you all love the next step, too.
Also this week, I signed my 3-year-old daughter up for dance lessons. I keep thinking about Leslie holding her kids out of lessons and such. Am I sending her too early? But she’s SO excited to go that it tickles her to her bone when she thinks about it.
I’m also thinking how blessed I am to have a group of friends. My husband’s job got a shake-up this week. It may eventually mean a move for my family. I used to really love moving. But I can’t bear the thought right now. When I moved to this town, I was pregnant and I didn’t have a job. Now I’m surrounded by amazing, wonderful women. It is so fun to see each of us as such different people with different ideas and different parenting styles and beliefs and backgrounds come together as a family. Do you have a wonderful group of friends? I don’t want to leave mine.
Okay.
We can’t leave coffee on a downer note. Hmmm…
Oh! Yes. Boot camp. I started boot camp last week. I’m right in the middle of getting myself out of bed and to class. I’m happy to say that even though I haven’t lost any weight, I am feeling better about myself. All it takes is the first step. DO IT!! You can do it with me. Win, lose or draw, I’m putting my post-baby weightloss story out there. I’d love if you’d join me on my journey!! Here’s this week’s post.
Have a great weekend! Let me know if you’ve been where I am in any of these situations. I’d love to hear how you got through them… or if you’re going through them.
I think Heather’s up next week!

Yes, I do have a wonderful group of friends!!
I would be lost without them (you included)! I had no idea you signed M up for dance… she’ll love it!! And another reason to stay where you are! My M starts soccer on Saturday… how did our kids get to be so grown up?!
