You guys, I don’t know where to start this week.

Hmmm.

First, coffee at home with her  is quickly becoming one of my favorite parts of the website.  We have over 40 feature writers now (say what?!) and we love their content so very much.  But, this also means Jen, Heather and I will be posting less (to save room for those great writers!) and instead we’ll turn our focus into managing this website.

Whew.  It’s all a lot more than we thought.

As you already know, I like to talk.  So when I have to limit my random talk, I get sad.  Good thing I will always have these random Saturday posts to chat with random strangers.  And frankly my dear, that makes me happy.

AKA – I love this website, I love you all, and I love to talk.  (I know it’s sounds cheesy, but I really, really do.)

Whew.  I feel better now.

Want to know the great news?!  The new site will, should, might be unveiled next week.  WOO-HOO!!  I can’t guarantee anything because, um – we’re picky.  We keep making our web guy change things cause we want it to be perfect.  But we’re pretty sure it’s happening.  Regardless, we will unveil new writers starting next week.

Let’s change gears a bit, shall we?  When did it become October?  Really.  I’m a little bit sad.  Mostly because my favorite season is slowing slipping away and I can smell the snowflakes already.

I believe I picked my last bouquet of zinnias this week.  Sigh.  It all goes too quickly, doesn’t it?

Look at this sweet little guy holding on for dear life.  Isn’t he cute?  The size of a quarter!

My flowers were gorgeous this summer.  It is one of the things I miss most when the weather turns cold.

At any rate, I am loving the weather now.  I’ll be spending this glorious weekend at my sister’s house and home on the farm with mom and dad, soaking in as much fall Nebraska air as I possibly can.

P.S.  Rachel @ inscribed photography (one of our feature writers) will be taking my family pics this weekend.  That’s awesome.  The bad news?  I have a huge zit right between my eyes. Yes.  Really.
