Fitness for Kids

As fall sports and outdoor activities are winding down, you will be looking for ways to keep your kids busy and off the couch. It’s not an easy task for parents these days.  When we were kids we watched cartoons just one morning a week.  We didn’t have entire networks available for our viewing pleasure 24/7. Playing games meant jumping rope, four square and hopscotch. Not Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja and Temple Run.  And a trip to McDonalds was a rare treat. Times have changed and it’s our job as parents to teach our children the importance of being active and making healthy choices.

Zumba can help!

ZumbAtomic® (For Kids) is a specially designed fitness class for children taught by licensed Zumbatomic instructors. It incorporates the Zumba® Fitness concept with kid friendly songs, routines and games to promote coordination, balance, discipline, creativity, pride, confidence and a healthy lifestyle.

Got shy kids? As a mom of shy children I know how painful it can be for both parent and child. ZumbAtomic® provides a unique, non-intimidating environment for shy children. And don’t leave your boys at home! Boys love to dance but are less likely to be placed in a traditional dance class. ZumbAtomic® provides an outlet for them to get their groove on. Often the boys are more coordinated and less inhibited than the girls.
