Congrats Kim!  Please send an e-mail to [email protected] and I’ll let you know what to do next!

We’ll give away more pumpkin patch tickets to a new patch towards the end of the week!

Don’t forget about our Omaha Vacation/Zoo giveaway!  We announce the winner on Friday!

We’re a big fan of Nebraska.

I think you all get that.

In an effort to show our support for this great state we are trying to highlight numerous businesses/activities throughout Nebraska.  As you can imagine, it’s a task.

We are especially fond of anything west of Lincoln.  Click here to learn why I say such a thing.  It’s not that I don’t love all of this state, (because I do – I really do) but let’s be honest.  Lincoln and Omaha folk get lots of love and we want everyone else to as well!

Anyway – on to my point.  If you want to go west  here’s your chance!  Hazel’s Pumpkin Patch is near Lodgepole, NE.

I’ve never been but I want to go.

You guys – they sell pumpkins by the “size” not the pound.  Heart melts.  That’s what we did back in the day when mom and dad had a pumpkin patch.  I love that.

It’s also a lot easier to know how much you’re going to be spending when you’re out picking your great pumpkin!

They have all the other good stuff too including a haunted house, hayrack rides, corn maze and the like.

I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t visit a pumpkin patch.  Even during our stint in Houston, Kyle and I found a patch and picked our favorite pumpkin in 90 degree heat.  There’s just something about it that screams “fall” to me.

It’s a tradition I plan to continue throughout my life and my kids’ lives, too.

Never been to a pumpkin patch?  Here’s your chance!  The fine folks at Hazel’s Pumpkin Patch are giving away a family 4 pack!  Here’s how you can win!

1.  Simply hit the “share” button on Her View From Home’s Facebook Page (this is the link) and be sure to leave a comment on that Facebook post to let us know you shared.

2.  Hit the “like or tweet” button on this post for a second entry.  Be sure to leave a comment to let us know you liked it!

3.  For a third entry, simply leave a comment on here!  Tell us about your favorite Halloween candy! (or just hi – anything works!  We just like to talk to you guys!)

We will pick one winner on Monday night.  Good Luck!

P.S. We still have TWO winners who have not claimed their pumpkin patch prizes awarded last Monday.  PLEASE check to see if you are the winner so we can get these tickets to you.  If we don’t hear from you, we’ll have to pick someone new!

P.S.S.  Here’s all the details about Hazel’s!  Check them out on their facebook page, or online!

P.S.S.S.  I just found out these guys were featured in the October/November addition of Country Woman Magazine!  How cool is that?  Nice job, Hazel’s!!  Way to share small town Nebraska love with the rest of the country!
