Her Pinspiration: Bath Paint

27 Sep, 2012

Written by Jennifer Sill

I had some leftover baby wash that I wanted to use up.  So this recipe was perfect!!  Fun in the bath and use up some stuff that’s cluttering the cupboard!  (Now for that baby lotion….. any ideas?)

I try to be inspired to do a project with my kiddos once a week.  I usually use Pinterest for my inspiration.  You can check out some of the other projects we’ve made (to keep our sanity) here.

Bath Paint

What you need:

-Baby Bath (One Cup per color)

-Cornstarch (4 Tbs per color)

-Food Coloring (Just one drop)

What you do:

-Mix!!

-Play!!

Here’s our fun:

One cup of baby soap

4 Tbs Cornstarch

Mix

Enjoy!

Note: Just use ONE drop of food coloring per color.  That way you know that your paint will be washable.

Also Note: For some reason (and it may just be the type of day we’re having) this was one of the messiest projects we’ve taken on.

Whew! A messy day. I think it was just a bad day here. :)

And one last note:  If you don’t like this bath paint, you can try this one  (It is at the very bottom of this page.)

Here’s where I got my Pinspiration this week:

And a couple other paint recipes:
