Central Nebraska has some WONDERFUL cities with the best local shops.  SO, this month we’re highlighting some of our favorite shops in a big “Shop Local” giveaway.  In each of the next three weeks, we’ll be giving away gift certificates to Hastings, Kearney and Grand Island.

We’re starting with Hastings!!  Win over $200 worth of great things in Hastings, NE  (Don’t worry.  Those of you not living in Nebraska can win also.  Many of the prizes have online shops.)

One lucky winner will win:

1. A free tastings from Winestyles of Hastings ($100 value)

I’m so jealous of the winner for this one.  This is a private wine (or beer) tasting (with some really great wine) for you and your closest friends.  PLUS, a 5-course dinner.  You’ll learn a lot about wine and have a bunch of fun.

**If you want to get a ‘taste’ of the fun you could win, stop by Winestyles on Friday night.  For just $5 a person you can sample 5 different wines (wine club members taste for free.)

2. $20 to buy cookies and other goodies from Eileens Colossal Cookies

What’s the best cookie you’ve ever had?  If you haven’t had these, you need to.  I bet you’ll update your ‘best’ cookie memory.  I have a friend who lives in Iowa who still sends away for these delicious goodies.

3. $50 to buy something mouth-watering from The Garden Cafe

This is actually my favorite place to eat in Hastings.  Their food is so fresh and wonderful.  My mouth is watering just thinking about their BBBBBLT or Zesty BBQ Burger.  YUMMY!  Check out their full menu here.

4. $30 in Hastings Chamber Money for you to spend in Hastings.

That way you can shop at your favorite spots in Hastings.

Here’s how you enter to win:

1. Tell us your favorite place to shop in your local city.  (Even if you don’t live in Nebraska, we’re interested!!)

2. Sign up for our e-mail newsletter

That’s it!!  Good Luck!!
