Hot Cars – A Good Reminder

Written by Leslie Means

Guys, we’ve all been there.  If you have kids, you know.  You’re tired.  You’re beyond the point of exhaustion.  It’s some kind of level you’ve never before known.

It’s easy to forget where you placed your keys, if you’ve showered lately.  It’s easy to be distracted.

This Public Service Announcement shows the detriment of being distracted.  In just 15 minutes, kids can die in a hot car.  “Who would leave their kids in the car?” you ask?  Lots of people.  Good, decent distracted people.

Watch this PSA below for a chilling reminder of why you must take your kids out of the car – even if you just run in for a few groceries.

Back in 2008, Oprah had a guest on who shared the same plea with parents.  She left her child in the hot car and it ended in the worst possible way.  That interview stuck with me for years.  I will never forget it.  Click here to read the story.

Hoping this video will stick in your memory bank – as it has mine.
