Images of a Nebraska Spring

Written by Rachel Gnagy

Just a few gorgeous Nebraska images to give you a break from your busy life….

Spring has been lovely this year, hasn’t it? I love the contrast between the yellow tulips and the bright blue sky. The sun was just starting to set when I took this picture, making soft shadows and highlights on the petals.

How lovely is this? Drops from the spring rain add to the delicate beauty of these hyacinths. I like how this image takes on a watercolor effect with the shallow depth-of-field.

A foggy and rainy morning left this beautiful tree studded with raindrops. My jaw dropped when I saw it – the raindrops shone like diamonds. It was absolutely amazing.

This tree is in my neighbor’s yard and I believe she said it was a Little Leaf Linden.

Have you captured any spring images this season?
