My friend and business partner, Leslie found these and posted them on the Her View From Home Facebook page a couple weeks ago. I couldn’t resist.
They’re awesome and easy!!
What you need:
Peppermints (use green or red)
Baking sheet
Spray
Cookie Cutters
Toothpicks
Directions:
Preheat oven to ___ degrees
Heavily spray your baking sheet and cookie cutters with Pam.
Place candies inside the cookie cutters. (Make sure to have them touching in almost every spot)
Bake!!
There’s no set time on the bake. Just WATCH closely. When they’re melted, pull them. Don’t overcook!!
Spray a toothpick and make a hole in the ornaments while the sugar is still melted.
Then let them set – for at least 30 minutes. Again, you just have to judge when they’re ‘set’. And take them out of the cookie cutters right away. Also – you may have to break off some ‘excess.’
*Our stars didn’t work very well. The tips kept breaking off. I’d stick to hearts, ornaments and such.
