My sister in law is getting married. My daughter is a flower girl. I’m so excited!! I wanted Madison to make something special for her aunt. Here is the preview. (I hope my SIL doesn’t peek!!)
MATERIALS
Tissue paper in your desired colors
Mod Podge (Here’s a homemade Mod Podge recipe that’s great)
Paintbrush
Scissors
Glass containers to fit your candle(s), I used thrifted vases and wine tumblers
Q-tips, optional
Candles (We use flameless b/c we have toddlers.)
**Note: This can look really professional if you have paper punches.
Step One: Cut out (or punch out) shapes from your tissue paper.
Step Two: Mix a little extra water in your Mod Podge.
Step Three: Paint the Mod Podge on your glass. Then stick your tissue shapes on to the glue. Then Mod Podge over the top again. Let dry completly.
*Note: Wet tissue rips easily. Be gentle.
Step Four: Once dry, you can wet the Mod Podge and wipe any areas off.
Step Five: Enjoy with your candle!!
