She Finds Her Inspiration on Facebook

Faith. We’ve talked about it a lot this week on HVFH. In the wake of the Blue Hill bus accident, it really makes us wonder about our purpose, life itself and why God allows things like this to happen. The fact is, no one knows. But I find so much comfort and inspiriation in picture messages. They seem to pop up when I truly need them the most. And where do I find them, the strangest of all places. Facebook.
There within the statuses of friends, celebrities and stalkers alike, messages of hope, inspiration, encouragement abound. When I am troubled about something, a picture reminding me of God fills my heart and stirs my spirit with hope.
Instead of leaving you with devotional or story in faith, I’m going to leave you with my favorite song and pictures of encouragement. I hope you’re inspired to thank God for your day today. I hope they spur you to know more about your faith, more about him too.

So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. 2nd Corinthians 4:16-18.

Beautiful, Heather. Thank you.
