I love this time of year.
The pumpkins, the leaves, the excuse to drink seriously high calorie sips (like pumpkin spice coffee and my new fav, caramel apple cider – holy sugar high!!) simply because it warms my soul from head to toe.
Ah, fall. I heart you.
Nothing says fall like a trip to a local pumpkin patch. This week we are giving away a chance to win 4 tickets to The Scarecrow Patch near Grand Island! My family and my sister’s fam visited this patch over the weekend. We had a blast (as we usually do!) and walked away with plenty of memories. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can see at their pumpkin patch!
Plenty of animals to pet. HELLO BUDDY!
Countless slides. Seriously – I think everywhere I turned there was a slide, which made my tempter-tantrum prone child quite happy!
Zip slides – one for big kids and one for small ones. I really wanted to try this but didn’t think I fit the requirements..
Plenty of food including stuff for s’mores and a campfire area to roast them! (And the hot apple cider is there, too!)
Lots of loose corn to dig in, a corn maze, bales to jump across, a large bouncy thing that I may or may not have attempted to bounce on (I didn’t even pee my pants this time! Long story – no, short story, really. I had two baby girls. nuf said) and plenty of room to run until you can run no more.
Incredibly cute baby boy not included.
Of course, there’s pumpkins too! We had such a great time and hope you get the opportunity to head out to one of the fantastic Nebraska pumpkin patches near you!

Liked! My favorite halloween costume was my daughters when she was a pink furry bunny!
I “liked” this!
I think my favorite costume was when I was Barbie in elementary school. Thanks for all the giveaways!

One year when my sister and I were little, it was bitterly cold out. My mom made us warm costumes!! We were bunches of grapes …footy pajamas with green and purple balloons safety pinned to us!!! So creative and we were toasty warm!!!
Liked. One year a Princess thanks to one of my moms prom dresses from the early 60′s Aqua marine with straps and a long ballerina skirt and a short sleeve jacket on top. It worked great for school but it was so cold that night. That I had to dress as a rodeo clown in order to keep warm from the car to the house.

Life is full of so many stresses. You can either let the stresses ruin you or you can find a way, to de-stress. Wether it is a day trip to a pumpkin patch, or a longer one needs to take the time to enjoy life, after all we are given one chance.
Liked this post, shared on facebook. My favorite costume was one my mom made when I was 5. I was a space girl and had a matching costume for my doll, it was pretty cool.
I shared, and liked this site……….My favorite costume was when my husband had this (gross) long beard many years ago when our kids were small. He is the BIGGEST trick or treater in the entire country. No matter he claimed he had no costume that year so we tied a broomstick to his back and sent him out as a toilet brush. Not real sure he has ever forgiven that one but it was a riot!!!!!! everyone loved it and had a good laugh. Most even guessed what he was!!!!!
Shared, liked & I love Halloween costumes & seeing all the kids! I love the little pumpkins & cute costume but not really in to scary ones! Thinking if making my 10 month old Albert Einstein! Should be interesting & fun!
My favorite halloween costume is when I dressed my boys up as Johnny Test, flaming spiked hair and all. It was super fun and very original. It was fun when people yelled out “there’s Johnny Test” when most people didn’t know who he was.
My favorite Halloween costume was when I dressed up as “Scarlett O’Hara” from Gone with the Wind in 6th grade. I have blond hair and we used colored hair spray to make it black. People didn’t recognize me!
Liked & shared. My favorite costume would have to be dressing up like a princess.
