I don’t know about you, but for me, Pinterest craft ideas can get overwhelming. I have a board dedicated to craft ideas for my kids, yet I’ve probably only attempted a handful. The few times I’ve tried to set up a fun craft, it ends up with me spending more time preparing it and my daughter spending .2 seconds on it before she’s uninterested. Until I tried this.
It’s simple, requires little preparation, keeps my busy toddler entertained, and can be enjoyed by a wide range of ages from about 2+. I tailored this specific craft to fit the Valentine’s Day theme, but you can use whatever colors/shapes you’d like. Here’s what you need:
-a roll of clear contact paper (found with the drawer liners at Walmart in the kitchen section for $5)
-construction paper (optional)
-multiple colors of tissue paper (cut into squares)
-tape (to hang the contact paper on the window)
Tape the contact paper to the window while your child adds the tissue paper squares. Once it’s done, you’ll have a pretty “stained glass” effect! Children love to see their artwork on display and this is the perfect craft to add a little character to those dull windows of yours 😉

Cheers to easy crafts that keep the kids AND the mom happy!
