I hope you all stayed warm and cozy during the snow storm last week! Sam and I enjoyed being snowed in together – and I think I managed to stay at home for a solid three days. Needless to say, I was ready to get out and about after that!
Here in Hastings, the snow was falling beautifully. Just like you’d picture it snowing on Christmas. But I was so thankful to be home and not out driving in the storm!
I’m also thankful for the moisture the snow represents. Coming from a farm family, I am glad for the extra inches of snow that the storm brought and I know the crops will benefit from it!
I know it may seem hard to believe that spring is coming when there is a foot of snow on the ground, but it really is coming! I can’t believe that February is nearly over and March is here.
Already the snow is melting and I can tell that warmer weather is just around the corner. Especially in the days leading up to celebrating the Resurrection, I am glad for the reminder that winter does not last forever – spring comes, bringing new life!
