Guys! We have over 200 writers on Her View and they are all incredibly talented. Not only do they write (and have many published books, articles, stories, etc) many of them create products too.
And so we had a thought. And by we, I mean our crazy talented team had a thought.
“Let’s do a big group giveaway!”
Of course we should. Of course!
Here’s how this works. Check out all the products and links listed and then head on over to our Facebook page and leave us a comment. Tell us your favorite part about Her View From Home. You can also leave a comment on this post. And then share, share, share away! You guys, these writers deserve so much recognition and love. The more shares the better. That’s it! We will choose 22 winners (one for each item).
Contest ends at 10:00 pm Friday (December 11) and winners will be announced Saturday on this post and on social media. Winners chosen at random. As always, Facebook has no part in this giveaway.
Let the giveaway begin!

Jeremy and I were high school sweethearts and we were blessed with a great love. It became very clear that God wanted more from us after Jeremy was diagnosed with severe depression and survived five suicide attempts and a near-death accident caused likely by a medication failure. We knew we had to share our story because so many suffer from unseen illnesses in silence like we used to. We have found hope and healing in the ability to be honest and to help others understand the reality of mental illness. Our book, “Never Alone: A Husband and Wife’s Journey with Depression and Faith” tells our entire story from meeting to near death to hope.

An Apple for Dapple is inspired by the Welsh Dapple pony who lived on our ranch. In the fall of 2010, we had a generous apple crop. Our Maggie was 2 years old at the time, and I encouraged her to pick up the rotten apples and feed them to Dapple. He loved them! After that, Dapple was tied in the orchard each fall to eat the apples that fell to the ground.
It has always been my dream to write and publish a children’s book. Dapple inspired the story, and in the fall of 2011 my dream was realized. I treasure the story as a way that will forever commemorate Dapple’s life, and Maggie’s love for him.
Personalized copies are available from me
, or at amazon.com
. I am happy to give away 3 copies to anyone who would like to comment about a little person who is deserving of a book this Christmas season. An Apple for Dapple is geared toward little’s who like to be read to, up to age 9.

In the fall of 2013, I quit my full-time job to ranch with my husband and raise our babies. Six months later I launched my blog, Faith Family and Beef
– the story of my life bringing up a family and raising beef. Along my blogging journey, my readers and Instagram followers
began complimenting my “eye for photography.”
I opened my shop to make images of my everyday ranch life available to those who appreciate them. I hope to one day expand my shop to include other items related to my passions – faith, family, and beef.

Escaping the depression that chased her following her father’s untimely and agonizing death, this young accountant-turned-adventurer trekked to remote mountain villages and through city streets smelling of human excrement: all in search of a Father’s love. Thousands of miles from the only home she’d ever known, Holly discovered a deeper passion for her God while sharing the gospel in India and soothing abandoned babies in South Africa.
