A lot of people like to discard someone with a dis A lot of people like to discard someone with a disability, whether that be a dog—or a little girl with autism.

And then there are the angels who see past the surface. The people who know that different never ever means less.

By saving grace, our dog Nana went from feral to our forever family. And last weekend, something unbelievable happened when two girls who trust each other came together.

Never give up. Not on a dog—nor a person with a disability.

Different, not less.

No one is out there doing everything all at once.⁣
⁣
NO ONE.⁣
⁣
No one is being the perfect mother, with the perfect hair, with the perfect husband, with the perfect kids, with the perfect life.⁣
⁣
NO ONE.⁣
⁣
No one puts on their makeup every day after running 5 miles, spending quality time with their kids, eating 100% healthy meals, cooking perfect meals, laundry, dishes, etc.⁣
⁣
NO ONE.⁣
⁣
No one does everything every day. If you’re basing it on what you see on Social Media, then you’re basing it on what is shared, not what isn’t. It’s unrealistic to do everything all the time. So, we give and take.⁣
⁣
NO ONE.⁣
⁣
No one reads all the books, cleans the entire house, goes to work, and then comes home to well-behaved children who just want to read their own books.⁣
⁣
NO ONE.⁣
⁣
No one gets out unscathed. Our real lives aren’t highlight reels. There is struggle, strife, and loss in every single person’s life.⁣
⁣
NO ONE.⁣
⁣
No one has the perfect life where everything falls perfectly in place. It just doesn’t happen. So, let’s let go of the notion that all these people we see on a tiny screen or big screen are living perfect lives. They aren’t. Not one of us has it all, and we’re not meant to. We’re meant to pick what’s best for us and our family.⁣
⁣
NO ONE. No one has it all.⁣
