Embellish the Season with Paper – In Love, Am Loved Studios by Anna Malie Design
I love paper. It is a such a versatile material – one we simply cannot live without. We use it daily – to communicate, for wrapping special gifts, and also to decorate. We read notes and beautiful stories written on it. We view advertisements, and possibly keep track of our day to day lives, whether it be a planner or sticky notes. Kids use it to create masterpiece upon masterpiece that we just cannot stand to throw out. Soon our refrigerators are covered in delightful artwork.
What a great medium paper is and all of its uses.
How can you use paper this holiday season? There are numerous ways to embellish your home and life with paper. Here are a few.
- Send a holiday greeting in the mail. Everyone loves to get mail, real mail that is. I love opening the mailbox during Christmas time. It is full of cards from people spreading holiday cheer. It is such an easy and delightful way to reach out to friends and family. It is a good way to let your family and friends know what you have been up to the past year and to include some updated photos. In all the hustle and bustle of the season, it is important to find the time to slow down and reach out to those who you haven’t talked to in awhile. It will give them a warm fuzzy – and they might just send you a card back. A win for everyone!
Our 2015 Holiday Collection is filled with beautiful designs to show off your family photos. Include an infographic back to artfully let everyone know what you’ve been up to this past year. Each order is hand illustrated based on the information you submit. They truly are a creative way to highlight your year. Place your order by cyber Monday (November 30, 2015) and save 10% off your order! Use the code HVFH10.
- Decorate. The easiest way to get into the holiday spirit is to fill your home with seasonal decor. We all know that Pinterest is filled with millions of ideas and some that can take awhile to create. We want to make it easy for you! We would like to offer you some festive prints for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Click on the images below for your free download and print them on 8.5×11 paper. And if you are feeling crafty, you can add some paper crafts from around the web to add to your perfect paper atmosphere. Use materials you already have and upcycle some beautiful holiday décor. Check out these two we found and love:
- Wrap your gifts with a little paper love. Everyone loves a beautifully wrapped gift. If you are like me and wait until the last minute to shop, take advantage of stores that may offer gift wrapping. Sometimes it’s even free! A beautifully wrapped gift adds an extra touch and makes your gift that much more special.
These are just a few ways to use paper in your holiday celebrations this year. As always, be mindful and recycle when possible.
