Courtney Nunley has spent her 20+ year career in marketing and communications, helping
companies and healthcare systems connect with customers and patients. Courtney has worked
in a variety of industries, from consumer-packaged goods to travel and retail, although her
heart is in healthcare communications and helping physicians communicate their, at times, life-
renewing solutions to deserving families.
While she’s proud of the work she’s done throughout her career, her greatest joy in life is her
family. Courtney’s family includes her wonderful daughters, Bryce and Harper, her husband of
12 years, Nathan, and her beloved 105 lb. yellow-lab, Sunny, who Courtney claims is the
absolute best dog, or animal, on the planet.
The Nunley family resides in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, which happens to be Courtney’s
hometown. Nathan grew up in Austin, Texas, so the Nunleys also claim to “part Texan” as well,
and spend quite a lot of time there. While not working or writing you’re likely to find Courtney
on the side of a sport’s field, either coaching her daughters’ field hockey games, supporting
Nathan coaching their softball games, or simply cheering everyone on.
Since she was very young, writing has always been a hobby of Courtney’s, and something she
often goes to as a way to work through thoughts and feelings. She’s shared her thoughts with
friends, family, and local papers throughout the years, and now, after much encouragement
from loved ones, she’s decided to give sharing it with a bigger community a try.
