My name is Kristy Stewart. I am a wife, mother, and high school teacher. I love spending time with my family, reading, writing, the outdoors, basketball, and going to church. I have been married for 17 years and have taught biology at the high school level for 16. I have two children who are my absolute world. My daughter is 14 and my son is 10. They both are very active and keep me super busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My son was born with a genetic disorder called Neurofibromatoisis (NF1). He was diagnosed when he was just two months old. His medical journey has not only brought me closer to God but it also made me start writing again. I use writing as an outlet. It also helps me keep family/friends updated on his medical journey.
