Our Keepsake Journal is Here! 🎉

God has you here for a reason. He has placed you exactly where He wants you to be, and you have an opportunity to minister to someone along your path who needs exactly what you have to give.

I know you might not feel qualified for the task before you, and that’s okay. He will equip you with exactly what you need. He has an amazing way of doing that.

I know you’re looking for ways to be somewhere else right now. Something else seems more intriguing than your reality. Maybe it’s a new home, living in an entirely new state, or maybe a new job.

I see you running from something. You think the next thing will be much better than what you have right now. You’re looking at whatever is difficult for you right now, but God’s with you in that, and He has an incredible plan.

If only you could see your impact on the people around you, you would know the power of your influence. If only you could see how you encourage someone around you, you’d look at things differently. If only you could see how you’re pointing someone to Christ, you wouldn’t try to move out of this current season.

You would be both humbled and encouraged.

You would be both convicted and motivated.

You would be content and fulfilled.

I pray for you to see all that is before you and the incredible opportunity you have to change the world simply by showing up for the people who surround you. You are exactly where you need to be. Even if it doesn’t feel glamorous, you are doing kingdom work. You are fulfilling an important part of God’s plan.

God has you here for a reason.

I Needed Undoing, So God Gave Me You

In: Faith, Kids, Motherhood

I needed to become more patient. So God gave me you. I needed to learn how to go with the flow. So God gave me you. I needed to focus less on being served and more on serving. So God gave me you. I needed to recognize that perfection is unattainable. So God gave me you. I needed a reminder that I can’t do it all, be it all. So God gave me you. I needed to learn how to wait before reacting. So God gave me you. I needed to better understand the incredible power of love. So God...

When I Look in Your Eyes, Sweet Child, I Find My Purpose www.herviewfromhome.com

I often look down at you, and I see those sweet eyes staring up at me. “Mama, will you pick you up? Mama, will you come and play with me?” I see your eyes inquiring. Many times, from my view all the way up here, it’s easy to pass these opportunities by. To smile at you sweetly and tell you to be on your way, to go and play with your toys. But when I come down to your level, baby girl, it’s another story. When I come down to your level, I see you. Face-to-face. When I come down...

God is For Me

God is For Me www.herviewfromhome.com

God is for me. In my anxiety and worries, He embraces me with a love that holds no fear. The purest form of love there is, and a love I have immediate access to. In my doubts, when I’m feeling like I’m not good enough or will never amount to anything, He reminds me that He isn’t even close to being done with me. He has more in store for me than I can imagine. In my shame He lifts my chin and tells me I’m not my past, that I’ve been made new. In my exhaustion He is my...
