A simple cherry treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Cherry Pie Filling

Instructions

  • Cream Cirsco and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and then flour, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla and baking powder.
  • Put 3/4 of the batter in greased 15 X 17" pan. Spread pie filling on top and then dab remaining batter randomly over top.
  • Bake 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
