9-Year-Old Cancer Patient Requests Cards For His Last Christmas

9-Year-Old Cancer Patient Requests Cards For His Last Christmas
Written by Leslie Means

Oh, friends. We have a request for you all.

Can we please help send this awesome 9-year-old a little Christmas cheer?

Jacob Thompson, a cancer patient with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma, was admitted to Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in October. The family doesn’t expect Jacob to live much longer. According to a GoFundMe page set up by his family they, “expect Jacob may pass away within the month.”

Family and friends hope to celebrate Christmas with Jacob this weekend. They sent out a request on Facebook for Christmas cards and the response has been incredible!

Jacob’s mother, Michelle Thompson Simard, told Good Housekeeping that “Jacob loves the holiday season and we want him to know that Christmas wishes come true and that there are good people who care all around the world.”

And this, friends, is where we can help.

My girls and I will be coloring Christmas cards for Jacob this afternoon. If you would like to send him a little Christmas cheer, the address is:
