BLT
This is a summer standard in our home.
You can’t really have one with those winter tomatoes. You need to wait for the juicy goodness of the summer vine. Its the only way to eat a BLT.
But this week my brother took the treat to a whole new level. A basket weave. Bacon-y goodness in every bite.
Ingredients:
Bacon (of course)
Tin Foil, baking sheet, cookie cooling racks
Lettuce
Tomato
Mayo
Toast
Directions:
Cut your basic bacon strip in half.
Using six halves, weave a square.
Line your cookie sheet with tin foil. Place cooling racks on top. Place bacon weaves on top of the cooling racks.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Awesome, bacon-filled bite every time.
