You feel like you’re failing at life, and you just can’t get ahead.
And that’s OK. It will pass. You had a bad day.
We all have those days. Those days when we can’t get ahead and we can’t get things done that we wanted to, so we have to put it off to another day and the stress is a never-ending cycle.
It’s life.
It’s OK that you didn’t wash those dishes after supper or start that load of laundry. It’s OK that you decided to give your kids a baby wipe bath was better than dealing with the chaos of putting them in the tub.
It’s OK that you yelled at your toddler who decided at 10 p.m. it was OK to fight sleep and fight you in the process.
You know why it’s all going to be OK?
Because even when you feel like a failure and feel like a quitter, your family still loves you.
Your little toddler isn’t going to remember that mama raised her voice at me before bedtime. They’re going to remember how mama gave them their pap, got them a nice cold sippy cup of milk, tucked them in, and made sure their covers were snug.
