Glimpses of Spring

Written by Rachel Gnagy

I love beginning to see the colors of spring peeking through the dull browns and grays of winter. It’s these glimpses of new life and growth that make me realize spring is really here!

My boys and I enjoy going on walks in the park, soaking up sunshine, listening to birds, and smelling the freshness of leaves and flowers. In the midst of life’s busyness and chaos, those moments are precious.

Glimpses of Spring www.herviewfromhome.comColor is one of the things I look forward to most about spring. Winter has its beauty but after the snow melts, it’s just too much gray. I’m so glad to see the bright and bold colors of forsythia, hyacinths, daffodils, and flowering trees.

Spring rains are another favorite part of this season. I love falling asleep to the sound of rain or watching a thunder storm roll in!

What are some of your favorites of spring?
