My kiddos (especially my 4-year old) LOVE helping out in the kitchen.
This week my Sister-in-law got married. Our whole family headed to my inlaw’s cabin on Thursday to help set up. Madison and I decided to bring a special treat for the rest of the ‘set up’ crew: Chocolate Strawberries.
We of course found our recipe on Pinterest (since that’s where I find all of my “Pinspirations”).
Ingredients:
2 pounds strawberries
1 brick chocolate almond bark
1 brick white almond bark
Directions
In a microwave-safe bowl, or in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, cook chocolate until melted. Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth. Holding berries by the stem, dip each one in molten chocolate, about three-quarters of the way to the stem. Place, stem side down, on wire rack and chill in refrigerator until hardened.
Drizzle white almond bark on your masterpieces:
Here’s a shout out to my ‘Pinspiration’.
