Blessed are the moms whose spirits are worn down and tired . . .

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are the moms who mourn for the loss of loved ones, for the loss of a child.

Who mourn for days to return to normal.

Who mourn for any heartache they are carrying . . .

For they will be comforted.

Blessed are the moms who are meek and gentle with their words and with their children’s hearts . . .

For they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are the moms who hunger and thirst for righteousness for themselves and for their children.

Who hunger and thirst to be a better version of themselves so they can be a good example to their children . . .

For they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, who offer forgiveness, grace, and compassion when their children make mistakes . . .

For they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the moms who are pure in heart, who strive to teach their children to be pure in a world that is anything but . . .

For they will see God.

Blessed are the moms who are the peacemakers . . .

Who choose to keep peace in their house instead of chaos.

Who remain a calm place for their children when the world feels out of control.

Who patiently shape their children’s hearts when they are bickering for the thousandth time . . .

For they will be called children of God.

Blessed are the moms who are persecuted and questioned for the beliefs they are teaching their children but continue to stand firm on the word of God . . .

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you, moms, when people insult you, persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you because you are raising children to love Jesus.

Rejoice, sweet mom, and be glad because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way, they persecuted many godly mothers before you.
