If only my girls knew I am growing right alongside them.

I am learning more about myself every day. If only they knew, I am still growing into my identity too.

If only they knew that just because I am their mom, I don’t have it all figured out.

I question myself, my decisions, my words. If only they knew how much I have to learn.

If only they knew I have just as many fears and worries as they do, maybe more.

I am learning to trust God with my fears, and in turn, I am also trying to teach them. If only they knew how much God is teaching me through them.

If only they knew how hard it is to see them grow, changing and growingso different than that little baby they once were. If only they knew how hard it is to let go.

If only they knew I am more than the title of mommy, a person with my own hopes and dreams. If only they knew that I was someone before them too.

If only they knew that just because you are a mommy, you are not as strong as you appear. If only they knew that I grow weary and feel weak at times too.

If only they knew how much I pray for them, surrounding them every chance I get. If only they knew all I do to protect them.

If only they knew the depths of my love, to feel it radiate within me. If only they knew that it feels like they are a part of me.

If only they knew I am doing the best I can.

I don’t have it all figured out, and I am learning as much from them as they are from me. If only they knew, just because you are a mom doesn’t mean you have all the answers.

If only they knew, that each day I am growing into the mom God has called me to be, and I will never stop trying. If only they knew how much God is working on me.

If only they knew that being a mom is the greatest and most challenging thing that has ever happened to me.
