My fifth wedding anniversary is coming up, which means I haven’t lived on my family’s farm for five years. But somehow it still feels like home whenever I go back.
cloudsWhat is it about where you grew up that still feels so familiar and natural?

I love the wide open spaces and being able to see the sunsets. That’s something I’ve missed so much since moving into town.

About an hour before sunset, the light changes and makes everything come alive.

Even simple fences and pastures suddenly become filled with color and detail.

I’m thankful that, while my home is now with my husband, we are still able to visit my family and enjoy our times together.

Isaiah loves visiting the farm, too!
