Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a baby girl!

The couple reportedly welcomed their second child on Friday. A statement released on Sunday reads:

It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world.

Lili’s name honors both Queen Elizabeth and Harry’s beloved late mother, Princess Diana . . . which just gives us ALL the feels.

The statement continues:

Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home. Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.

This is the second child for the couple, who also have a two-year-old son named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The Duke and Duchess thank you for your warm wishes and prayers as they enjoy this special time as a family.

Harry and Meghan gushed about Lili on their Archwell website as well, saying, “She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

Lili joins big brother Archie, who is two years old.

Congratulations to the new family of four!

Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow. The pressures of motherhood look different for every mother. Whether you are a first-time mom or a fifth-time one, a working mom or one who stays at home, a single mom or one who has a partner, a wealthy mom or one who has to watch every penny spent . . .  A mom who is her child’s queen—or one who is a real-life princess.  But in a recently-released clip from the upcoming ITV documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, Meghan Markle’s response to her interviewer’s question reminds us all that there’s something we all have in common: No...

I Used To Wish For Meghan Markle's Fairy Tale, But Now I Hope She Gets Mine www.herviewfromhome.com

I have a confession to make: I’m obsessed with the royal wedding. I got up early to watch Will and Kate’s wedding, and I’ll probably do the same for Harry and Meghan. I love fairy tales and I love weddings. When I was young, I dreamed of designing ball gowns for a living. I would even imagine sometimes I was riding in the back of a carriage instead of the backseat of a car, headed toward a handsome prince and a beautiful palace. I think that’s why I’m looking forward to the royal wedding in mere hours (yes, I’m the...
