You guys! We were so close to re-launch. As in the new site WAS up and then we ran into an issue.

A big issue.

We have 4,000ish posts on this site. Say, what?! That’s a lot. And while the fantastic guys on our web team were transferring stories, not all the images came with it. And what was supposed to be a two hour switch yesterday afternoon, ended up being an all day adventure that left me slumped into a pile of mush on the couch bawling.

Ug. Being a dramatic female has its downfalls.

During my meltdown, I wrote our team. Our fantastic group of women (100+) from across the US. They were awesome and made me feel better instantly. “Hang in there,” they said. “And it’s all about timing – it will happen.” “And ah – it’s OK, drink wine!” and “I’ll send prayers go rest.” And the comments kept coming. And coming.

And I was even more proud to be a part of this “little” community.

Moments later, our great web guys were able to convert the new site back to the old (meaning all your content wasn’t gone!) and life is good again. Re-launch will happen, but it might take a few more days to make it flawless.

And that’s OK. We’ve been up for almost 3 years. We’ve waited a long time to form this grand community. What’s a few more days?

See? It’s all good. (Coffee, sleep and the knowledge that I get to eat a large piece of my husband’s birthday cake later today helps!)

In the meantime, can I show you these pictures? Rutheah at Blue House Fotos is so, seriously awesome. She came over last Monday and snapped a few shots of the new site. I am SO thankful for her artistic eye and her ability to look past my seriously dusty house. (No, really. It was bad. Bad, bad. Like kinda embarrassed bad.)  Check out my little office nook (really it’s the size of a closet).

Have a great weekend! See ya on the flip side with a new design!
