Ready for Easter? Still need a fun, maybe different Easter egg dye project? I’ve got a great one for you!
Supplies:
- CHEAP white shaving cream (a little goes a long way. I did a dozen with less than a can.)
- Food Coloring
- Ziplock baggies
- Eggs
- Make sure they’re already boiled and cooled. (Don’t let them melt the shaving cream.)
What you do:
- Squirt the shaving cream in the Ziplock.
- Drop in the egg
- Drop in a couple drops of food coloring (it works nicely if you drop the coloring right on the egg).
Swirl the egg around inside the bag.
Drop the egg onto a cookie sheet or muffin tin (it is best if some of the shaving cream comes off on the egg).
Wait 5 minutes.
Wipe the shaving cream off.
Tie Dyed Egg! (Super cool. Not a very big mess.)
You can also squirt the shaving cream on a cookie sheet, drop some food coloring and roll the egg around on the sheet. With this process, you should also wait 5 minutes for the dye to ‘set’ before wiping the egg down.
Happy Easter!
