Editor’s Note:  Rachel posted these gorgeous photos last spring and we decided to bring them back!  She just welcomed her first baby boy into this world – so we wanted to give her a much deserved break!

Check out her sweet Isaiah.  Congrats Rachel!

I love thunderstorms. There is nothing more comfortable for me than to be sitting in my sunporch with a mug of hot coffee or tea and a good book, listening to the thunder and rain outside.

And then there is something invigorating about being out in the rain. Recently I ran two miles in the pouring rain. I was soaked through and pretty cold, but it was refreshing at the same time.

There’s always something to see outside after a storm. I love looking at raindrops on leaves or flowers, watching the drops splash in puddles, or breathing in the fresh air.

What about  you?  What’s your favorite part of a spring rain?
