Update: Each week we like to pull a couple of our favorite stories from the archives.
I thought with the cooler weather it would be nice to sit down with a hot cup of chocolate… Nutella Hot Chocolate.
Here’s one by Leslie from a few months ago (Jen):
Last night I sat on my couch and ate my girls’ leftover Christmas candy.
Seriously. I devoured/licked off every last morsel of about 5 chocolates out of their sweet little plastic candy container.
It was pathetic.
So in an effort to avoid a repeat monstrosity this evening, I went on a mission to find a low-fat drink that could not only satisfy my sweet tooth but also appear on this little blog. Luckily I found this…
That’s right folks. Nutella hot chocolate. I was skeptical at first. After all, it’s tough to beat my mom’s recipe. Oh..but this one comes close.
Holy Nutella goodness! One of my usual go-to bloggers gave me this idea. SO SO simple! It’s just a little bit of Nutella (or a lot, depending on your own sweet tooth) and 1 cup of milk. I was introduced to Nutella a few months ago (I know I know! I wasn’t living under a rock. Promise!) and then a friend of mine told me about her recipes with this delectable treat and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Really? How can this be so easy you ask? Just trust me. It is.
You can heat this on the stove if you wish, but I just popped mine in the microwave for about a minute and voila…
Oh Nutella. You are so good. Thank you for finding me. You not only make delicious hot chocolate, but you have also served as a go-to staple for my girls’ nightly meals. Nutella and jelly sandwich anyone?! Yes please!
Enjoy!
