Our Keepsake Journal is Here! 🎉

Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas are the proud parents of a healthy baby boy!

According to her rep, Lohan, 37, gave birth to a son the couple has named Luai. The Arabic baby name means “shield or protector,” and Lohan’s rep says, “The family is over the moon in love.”

Lindsay, Bader, and little Luai live in Dubai, and while the exact date of the baby’s birth has not been shared, Lohan has shared a few bump photos in recent weeks on her Instagram account—and a sneak peek of the baby’s adorable nursery.

She announced her pregnancy in March by posting a photo of a white onesie with the words “coming soon” written across the front, adding she was “blessed and excited” about becoming a mom.

Lohan catapulted to fame as a child actress in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap. She went on to star in Disney’s Freaky Friday remake alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, and of course, became Cady Heron for the 2004 instant teen cult classic Mean Girls. (“On Wednesdays, we wear pink!”)

After a long (and rocky) hiatus from acting, Lohan returned to the small screen in a 2022 Netflix Christmas movie she also executive produced, called Falling For Christmas. It was the first time many of her fans had seen Lohan back in the public eye, and it rekindled some ’90s and early-2000s nostalgia for a generation of Millennials.

Now Lohan can add “boy mom” to her byline—and we have a feeling it’s already become her most cherished role yet. There’s just something about a son that melts a mama’s heart, and we can’t wait to watch her motherhood story unfold.

“Your Son Growing Up Will Feel Like the Slowest Breakup You’ve Ever Known” Aches in Every Mother’s Heart

“Why do they look so tall all of a sudden?” I asked my friend as we trailed her twin 8-year-old boys down a hallway recently.  “I know, right?” she sighed. “They don’t look like little boys anymore . . . I don’t know when that happened.” And, as they say, therein lies the rub: our babies grow up when we’re not looking and entirely without our consent.  Australian writer Mia Freedman gets it—a poignant post she recently wrote is going viral with moms all around the world. Freedman, who is the co-founder and content director of Mamamia Women’s Network, penned...

10 Things I Know Because I'm a Boy Mom www.herviewfromhome.com

I’ve always been somewhat of a tomboy. I grew up playing a variety of sports and have never been a fan of pink and frilly things. Things haven’t changed since becoming an adult woman. I still have the bad habit of occasionally biting my nails, so they are bare of polish. I only wear dresses on the most special of occasions, like a wedding, and I own two pairs of high heels that I haven’t worn in about three years. I prefer jeans and a t-shirt, running around town in my tennis shoes and my hair pulled back in ponytail....
