Once you’ve tasted success, it does not mean you will never again taste failure. When I submitted my manuscript to publishers and agents, it was rejected by a handful of them before it was published. Even after I published a book, I failed a writing exam and was rejected by a company. I’ve written a children’s book and it’s currently being rejected.
