Music and jokes, friends. That’s how I’m making it through this 2020 Coronavirus quarantine. What would I do without humor and happy songs??( Probably be catatonic in a bathtub full of Hershey bar wrappers and Mountain Dew cans. Ahem.)
So imagine my joy when I stumbled upon this internet gem that provided me both hysterical quarantine jokes and one of my favorite show tunes, with the bonus of adorable English accents! I could not keep this spot-on hilarity to myself!
The Marsh family from Kent, England is going mega-viral on Facebook with their cover and parody of the iconic Les Misérables anthem “One Day More.” Not only can parents Ben and Danielle and their four cuties sing, but they’re funny, to! They adapted the song with hilarious quarantine lyrics that are OH SO RELATABLE!
“I had no football match today . . . how can I play when we are parted?/Our grandparents are miles away!/They can’t work Skype, we’re brokenhearted!”
It just gets funnier from there—just take a look:
A video where you can get ALL your parental drinking and “online learning” jokes and frustrations in one spot, with a catchy tune? Brilliant! I watched it three times straight.
Thank you, Marsh family, for brightening up quarantine—and for featuring your kids’
REAL LIFE sibling argument at the beginning! It’s nice to know we’re not alone!
