Girl.Friends. After the past couple weeks of #irma and #harvey and every ugly news story that we can imagine, it’s time for some good news. And good news we have. Now some of you may have heard of a sweet little couple named… CHIP AND JOANNA GAINES. If you haven’t please do yourself a favor and come over to the light. And what’s probably the only word that brings us as much joy as the sound of their names? TARGET. Now put them together! That’s right, girls. Joanna Gaines is now selling her brand new home decor line called Hearth & Hand with Magnolia EXCLUSIVELY AT TARGET. This is not a drill.
According to our besties Chip and Joanna, their “modern farmhouse” line will be set up as it’s own little shop inside the beautiful walls of our beloved Target. Short of having them as my own personal shoppers and design team, I can think of nothing better. Momma needs some new throw pillows and a shabby chic end table. (No, I don’t really. But will I buy them anyway? You betcha.) Chip even shares that Joanna is “so excited about this collection that she wants to register for our wedding all over again.” SAME. Especially when Target says the collection will include “over 300 items spanning tabletop, home décor and giftables” and “in true Target style, most of the items will be under $30.”
The couple shares on their site Magnolia that time and time again, they’ve been asked to travel the country and share their design expertise, but with four children under 12, and a business to run in Waco, that’s just not feasible. They also say they are constantly approached by retailers to partner up and do something exclusive. None of them seemed a good fit—until now. Although we can already find Joanna’s designs in retailers across the country, the brand-spanking-new Hearth & Hand with Magnolia decor will be available ONLY at our home away from home, Target.
What’s more, the dream team also shares that they are proud to work with Target’s give back initiatives. Known for helping communities in need in and around Waco, the Chip and Joanna are excited to partner with Target to do more good on a grander scale. On Magnolia’s website, Chip says “Joanna is busy designing some pretty incredible updates for the community dining room at Target House, which serves hundreds of families whose kids are being treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis” and will reveal the updated dining room in November.
Okay, Target. You got me. Here’s all of my money. I need that lamp and throw rug like I need oxygen to breathe. (Slight exaggeration, but you know you feel the same.) What? Some shiplap and new wall hanging completes the look? Done.
I don’t know about you girls, but I’ll be camping out at Target come November, making my Santa list and checking it twice!
